Para-Aramid Resin
Para-Aramid Resin

Para-aramid resins are generally only used for spinning, but after milling and processing, para-aramid resins (i.e., para-aramid fines) can be used as special additives due to their ability to provide excellent reinforcing properties and control the viscosity of the adhesive under shear stress.

Advantages

Para-aramid resins, with excellent properties such as high abrasion resistance, low corrosivity, easy configuration and sound absorption, and can be precisely designed for abrasion resistance levels.

Applications

This product is suitable for coatings, rubber compounds, aviation flight coatings, etc. It can also be used to reinforce thermoplastic resins and help them acquire excellent wear-resistant properties.

Para-aramid, known as poly-terephthaloyl-p-phenylenediamine, or PPTA, is a kind of aromatic polyamide fiber. Also known as Aramid-II or Aramid 1414 in China, it is a linear macromolecule composed of amide groups connected to each other and to the para-phenyl ring, where at least 85% of the amide bond is directly connected between the two para-phenyl rings.
