Regenerative Reactor

Since the 1990s, the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) technology, an advanced version of the gas incinerator, has gained traction in Europe and the U.S.

The core principle involves heating waste gas beyond 850°C, prompting an oxidizing reaction. This transforms the waste gas's hydrocarbons into CO2 and H2O, which are then released into the environment. 

Due to the RTO system's inclusion of a regenerative ceramic preheater that offers up to 96% heat recovery, the fuel consumption is minimal (auxiliary fuel is only needed during the startup when waste gas concentration surpasses 1500 mg/m^3). For highly concentrated organic waste, any excess heat undergoes secondary recovery in systems like heat transfer oil, waste heat boilers, and steam heating. 

Our Chem ProRTO, operational since 2010, caters to pharmaceutical intermediates, APIs, pesticides, and other specialized chemicals. Given the fluctuating and intricate nature of these compounds, we've devised an RTO specifically tailored for chemical VOCs.

    1. High safety level - Cutting-edge safety instruments with the highest efficiency are selected. The LEL combustible gas alarm gas library contains up to 100 gases, with high signal stability, fast response, multiple configuration capability, and SIL2 certification;

    2. High efficiency - The processing efficiency maintains at more than 99.5%, with an emission target of ≤ 20mg/m³, far below the national emission target of 60mg/m³;

    3. Energy-saving - With built-in high-performance heat storage ceramics, it can achieve a thermal efficiency of > 96%, whose resistance is 30% lower than the traditional heat storage ceramics. It reduces energy consumption, and no auxiliary fuels are needed when the exhaust gas concentration is greater than 450ppm, except for the start-up.
